You are more than welcome to return unused items back to Fast and Light within 14 days of delivery for a refund, or within 30 days of delivery for an exchange or store credit.

1. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition that you received it.
  • The item must be in the original packaging with all tags and labels attached.
  • The return must be initiated within 30 days of the purchase date.

2. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are not eligible for return. These include:

  • Perishable goods (e.g. food, magazines).
  • Custom or personalized items.
  • Underwear, intimate or sanitary goods.
  • Hazardous materials or flammable liquids and gases (eg. liquid chalk).
  • Used items not in the original packaging and boxes.
  • Uncoiled or unpacked ropes.
  • Drilled skis and snowboards.
  • e-Gift Cards / eVouchers.

3. Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email our customer service at [email protected] with your order number, item(s) to be returned, and reason for return.
  2. Approval: Wait for a return authorization and instructions on how to proceed.
  3. Shipping: Securely package the item(s) and ship them back to us using the address provided in the return authorization email. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.

Please take reasonable care of the goods, as we are entitled to deduct an amount from the refund due to your poor handling. This includes damaged product packaging, ripped bags, tape or return shipping labels directly attached to the product packaging such as shoe boxes.

Climbing and Safety Equipment

You can return climbing equipment to us, however we must be very strict on the condition. Everything must be as it was received, with all labels, tags and packaging still on the product. Ropes must not be unpacked or uncoiled.
If we feel that the product has been used or is not as supplied we will refuse the return/exchange on safety grounds.

4. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the status of your refund.

  • Approved Refunds: If your return is approved, a refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 10 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
  • Partial Refunds: In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted (e.g., items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts not due to our error).

5. Exchanges

  • Exchanges: Items can be exchanged for the same product within 30 days of the purchase date. If you need to exchange an item, please contact us at [email protected] for further instructions.
  • Store Credit: If you prefer, you can choose to receive store credit instead of a refund within 30 days of the purchase date. Store credit is issued in the form of a discount code that can be used at checkout and is valid for 12 months.
