Breathable Mesh Upper
The Peregrine 10 upper has been constructed with a breathable mesh to keep your feet cool and dry. The mesh efficiently wicks away the build-up of excess heat, sweat and moisture to eradicate discomfort often caused by perspiration creating a drier, healthier environment. The mesh is also durable and abrasion-resistant to keep your feet protected from debris and objects typically found when trail running.
A padded tongue and heel adds to the comfort, guarding against friction and irritation from chafing.
FORMFIT surrounds the foot to give a tailor-made feel like these shoes were made specifically for your feet. A firm fit around the midfoot and toes increase stability and giveprotection against loose trail debris and a traditional lace system offers a secure, locked-in feel as you run.
PWRRUN Cushioning
Using PWRRUN, the Saucony Peregrine 10 Trail Running Shoes ensure lightweight cushioning that is extra responsive for a smoother ride, especially on the difficult or unpredictable terrain. The cushioning used at the top of the midsole is extremely soft absorbed instantly and effectively impacts and giving a plush ride which reduces fatigue and protects from injuries. With double the amount of flexibility than previous Saucony midsoles the responsiveness of the shoe is improved giving you an added spring to your step, pushing you on faster. The high-performing material in the midsole is also three times less heat sensitive than previous midsoles so whatever the conditions and temperature you are running in, the midsole delivers a premium performance.
PWRTRAC Outsole
The exceptionally sticky and durable PWRTRAC rubber provides unparalleled traction and wear resistance using a compound that has a Coefficient of Friction (COF) that is 3x that of normal carbon rubber. This highly durable rubber PWRTRAC outsole has a diamond formation of lugs with depth and ridges made of high traction carbon rubber that is harder than most rubbers on the market. This ensures better traction on the heel strike in both dry and wet environments, giving versatility and security in variable conditions and terrains.
