It combines the knowledge and experience of the best-selling hiking shoe, the Merrell Moab, with the latest innovations from athletic hikers around the world. Improved traction thanks to the incorporation of Vibram TC5+ rubber, specially formulated for Merrell, with a completely new design and traction lugs. Hikers know that comfort is king and the all-new Moab Speed features 30% thicker foam underfoot. Breathability has also been significantly improved thanks to lessons learned from the world’s best-selling Merrell Test Lab trail running range. Underfoot, you’ll find a secure heel counter and full-length stone plate to keep you confident on the trail, whatever the conditions. This version also incorporates Gore-Tex, the most trusted name in waterproofing, to keep your feet dry in bad weather.
