On this One Day event you have choice of 4 categories of Run starting by :
Keeping in mind that the Vertical Run is a brand new category for the Glacier 3000 Run. From the Col du Pillon, you reach the intermediate station of Cabane by a steep path that passes under the cable ways. This demanding course (average slope of 27%) is only suitable for well trained people. The crossing under the cliff of the Tête au Chamois is vertiginous and, shortly before reaching the Cabane des Diablerets CAS, you have to pass a rocky bar (easy climbing terrain, blue-white alpine hiking trail). Wearing a helmet is mandatory and the use of poles is recommended.
