The Movement Axess 86 touring ski is as its name suggests an accessible ski. It will allow you to access new terrain, landscapes and descents at comfortably at your own speed.
The Axess 86 is the thinnest in Movement’s new Axess range.
The Axess skis construction features a biaxial carbon weave for lightness and efficiency on all types of snow, as well as a new tip geometry for better flotation without losing grip on the edge.
This 86 mm underfoot model plays is a great compromise of lightness and versatility and is a comfortable ski to accompany you in all situations and snow conditions.
With its karuba wood core and carbon weave, the Axess 86 does not carry excess weight. It’s light on the climbs, but remains strong and stable on the descent, all the more so thanks to its titanium reinforcement underfoot that prevents tearing. The new tip shape at the front allows the ski to work well on any type of snow, with the addition of an 86 mm waistband which offers great versatility without weighing down the ski too much for the touring phases. Finally, the presence of a double rocker makes steering easier, so you don’t have to force the ski around turns at the end of the day when you don’t have a lot of energy in your legs.
This model is for intermediate to advanced skiers who are looking for a comfortable and secure touring ski that will still be effective on a wide variety of terrain for the downhill while remaining easy to take during the up-hill hiking sections.

A new technology specifically developedfor the ski touring range. A ski and its performance are characterized by
weight and skiability. We have worked on the carbon filament as well as the fiberglass which surround the wood core.
The main purpose is to find the perfect
angle to optimize the ski performance.
A two-layer system – one with fiberglass and the other one in titanium (DPR Titanal) is completely integrated under the bindings to guarantee a perfect anchorage of the screws.
Movement bases are top quality sintered bases with high molecular density using 3 different P-Tex bases throughout the range which are carefully chosen to match the individual ski.
Movement uses three different thickness and profiles of the edge throughout the range.
A natural rubber layer which incorporates fiberglass is placed in the front of the skis to absorb vibrations.
