Alien Revolution is a masterpiece of design and craftsmanship. Thanks to decades of innovation, Fixe Climbing and Alien Cams now introduce their third generation of revolutionary cams, based on the original cam designed by Favid Wagoner in 1985. The Revolution features relatively soft nubs for better rock grip, unmatched rock bite and increased safety. With this version of the revolution, Alien was able to significantly reduce the weight of the cam because the head of the cam is smaller and more versatile thanks to its spring mechanism and cam lugs, allowing it to fit into smaller cracks and crevices. Every part of the cam that takes the most pressure is pressure-tested and made of heavy-duty steel, while the cam and trigger are made of lightweight but strong aluminum.

The cam geometry has been improved, and its flexible shaft provides the movement and robustness that Alien cams are known for. The Revolution features an ergonomic strap that is coated with durable rubber and then color-coded for easy selection. Serviceable pins offer the opportunity to significantly extend the life of your cam. All in all, it’s one of those things that’s been worked on and improving for nearly 35 years, ensuring you’re confident in your gear on your next Alien Revolution adventure.
